We went to Walmart today with our coupon binder and a list of things we wanted to pick up. Boy, did we do well! 27 items for FREE!
We even managed to score a little overage, which is the money Walmart owes you when you redeem your coupons. Walmart gives overage, meaning if you have a coupon for $3 and the item is only $2.50 – you profit $0.50. We love that about Walmart!!
What did we get?
- Cutter Bug Spray, $1 and used the $1 Cutter coupon found here as well as mfg. coupons we had (check your binders)
- Bayer Asprin (this is where we “made money” because the coupon was for $3 and they were just over $2)
- Mt. Olive Sweet Relish, $0.96 & we used the $0.55 mfg. coupon from a previous insert (check your binders)
- Ball Pectin, $0.97 and used $1 coupon from the 6/3 SmartSource
- Black Flag Fly Paper, $0.98 and used the $1 coupon from the 4/15 Red Plum
- Cutter Citronella Candles, $0.97 and used the $1 Cutter coupon found here as well as mfg. coupons we had (check your binders)
It’s always cool when you see this after checking out at Self-Scan at Walmart:
Free is fun, and knowing how to use your coupons is a skill we love to share.
