5 Packs of Tide Stain Release Laundry Detergent for $3? (My Rite Aid Scenario)

This week at Rite Aid they have a sale on Tide and Downey products, including the 18ct. Tide Stain Release, for $6 each.

Plus, when you spend $30, you get $10 back in +UP rewards.

So, after peeking around my coupon stash, this is the deal I have come up with to try:

Buy 5 Tide Stain Release 18ct. packs $6 each = $30

Use (4) $3 off Tide Stain Release coupons from previous P&G insert (expire 7/31)

Use (1) $2 off Tide Stain Release coupon that I received with my Tide Stain Release sample offer

Use (1) $3 off a $15 purchase survey coupon from Rite Aid previous shopping trip

Pay $13 & get a $10 +UP Reward

$3 for 5 of them!

Worth mentioning:

  • You may wonder why I do not use (5) of the $3 coupons;  that was my original thought but I see in the fine print of the coupon it says “limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip”.  Dang!
  • Finding 5 of these in stock at one store may present the challenge as our store usually only has a couple of each item in stock.  However, I am optimistic as this isn’t a widely advertised or blogged about deal and at $6 each the starting price point isn’t cheap enough to get people rushing to the store to buy them (I hope).
  • Even if you don’t have the $3 off survey coupon, you would still pay just $1.20 each for these if you use the other coupons as outlined above.

Stay tuned….I’ll update you to let you know if I was able to score this deal when I return from Rite-Aid!
