The fun, crazy 7-Eleven Bring Your Own Cup Day is back this year for two days on March 18th and March 19th.
This year’s fun coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Slurpee. It’s hard to believe that the famous Slurpee beverage has been around for fifty years.
If you are a Slurpee lover, grab a cup from home which can be as creative as you would like (pitcher, container, bucket, huge jar… think outside the box). You’ll get to fill that “cup” with the Slurpee of your choice for $1.50. Since there is no limit on the size of the cup (see below for some restrictions) you may as well go for the gusto and grab something big, something to fit a lot of Slurpee! You can always share your Slurpee with your family and friends once you leave the store….which based on the size of some of the containers from 2015, that would probably be a really good idea to share it with others!
Please note that there are some simple rules regarding the size of the container; it needs to be able to fit through an in-store display that measures 10 inches in diameter.
It must be clean and safe for consumption and watertight to avoid leaks.

Last year our adorable niece Macyke joined in on the fun and was photographed by local MLive reporters as she scored her Slurpee in a plastic pitcher. Isn’t she cute? OK, we are a little biased.
We don’t know what creative container she has in the works for this year’s fun.
The event runs at all 7-Eleven stores from 11:00am – 7:00pm daily March 18th and 19th.
