The Walmart trade in event is incredible, and a great way to nab a $30 Walmart gift card (that can be used on anything in the store, not just on a new car seat).
September is National Baby Safety Month, and at nearly 4,000 Walmart stores customers who trade in a used car seat can get a $30 gift card. This Walmart trade in event is a great incentive to parents to keep those unused car seats out of landfills.
Wondering if your local store is participating in the Walmart trade in event? Check participating stores and search by zip code. We looked and all our local stores are taking part.
Walmart trade in event details:
- Bring your car seat to the trade in event at your participating Walmart Supercenter.
- Take the car seat to the Customer Service counter to be recycled
- Receive your $30 Walmart gift card* that you can use in-store or online to buy items for your baby
There are some rules:
- Limit 2 trade-ins per household
- Any car seat brand accepted
- Booster seats are not eligible for trade in
