We are thrilled to see that Toys R Us and Babies R Us have announced a Price Matching Policy! (thanks Gladys R. for bringing that to our attention).
You can go here to read more, but basically they are saying that if another store advertises an item in their ad and you bring in the ad, they will match the price. We did notice too that it says they will match it at the time of purchase or within 7 days of purchase date with a valid receipt. That means if you buy something and it goes on sale they will price match the sale after the fact. Awesome!
There are some things they won’t match including BOGO items, door buster deals, etc.
This is going to be awesome, especially during the holiday shopping season when toy sales are plentiful. Now when Target for example runs a sale on the XYZ item and sells out you can take your ad to Toys R Us who probably has plenty of stock since they are not running XYZ on sale and you can price match. Hooray!
