Can you believe that we have once again welcomed in a new year? It’s 2013 and we should all celebrate the fact that we are able to be present to cherish the new clean slate in front of us. I read a quote the other day by Brad Paisley that said “you have a blank 365 page book in front of you, write a good one“.
I love that!
Just think of how much possibility is in front of all of us! It’s staggering when you wrap your head around it. I don’t make resolutions for the new year; it’s not because I don’t have any weight to loose (I do) or have any habits I want to curb (I do). I don’t make resolutions because I don’t like to set myself up for failure. Instead, I’ve chosen to have a little talk with myself and reach an understanding that I want to become a better person in 2013. I want to celebrate more and worry less; I want to walk more and sit on the couch watching TV less, I want to forgive more and be less bitter, I could go on and on….
For me, just saying goodbye to 2012 is big deal – 2012 was the year of cancer in our house. I couldn’t be happier to see it go, and along with it the year of tears, appointments, treatments and scary thoughts! GOODBYE!
I hope that each one of you can embrace the new year in front of you, and celebrate it’s arrival with hope and excitement. We’ll continue to be your partner for saving money along the way. Each and every one of you are important to us and we remain committed to bringing you the money saving deals you have come to expect.
Remember, you have that book in front of you – write a good one!
Happy 2013!
