Unless you have been off of social media all week you probably couldn’t help but hear about Amazon’s big announcement of the upcoming Amazon Prime Day on July 15th. Amazon has kind of created their own shopping holiday, in celebration of their 20th anniversary. Amazon is saying that the deals that will be offered on Prime Day will rival those of Black Friday lore, the legendary day of over the top deals on everything from electronics to clothing.

Hm….well played Amazon, well played. Now you have millions of curious shoppers wondering just how good the prices will be (us included)! Will you be shopping on Prime Day? If so, you will want to be sure you are an Amazon Prime subscriber so you can snag the free shipping on the deals. Not a Prime member? You can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime here, for 30 days.

In order to participate in this monumental shopping event, you have to be an Amazon Prime member. Prime is Amazon’s annual membership service that comes with a whole host of great benefits. Our most favorite perk is the free two-day shipping (with no minimum order size). We use this feature all the time! We order about 90% of our online items from Amazon and the free shipping is key.

Along with the free two day shipping Prime members also have early access to Amazon Lightning Deals, free unlimited movie and TV show streaming with Prime Instant Video, unlimited music streaming with Prime Music, and unlimited photo storage with Prime Photos. The price of Amazon Prime is $99 per year. It may sound steep but you will easily discover that this is money well spent.

Curious? Unlock the Prime free 30-day trial and explore the service. You’ll be eligible for Prime Day as well, so you won’t be left out of the spectacular deals they have in store.
