While Jim was in Home Depot last week he picked up some new LED light bulbs for our home. He also noticed this display and investigated the details so that we could share it with our local readers.
If you are a residential customer of Bay City Electric Light & Power you can upgrade your home’s light bulbs to LED lights and receive a rebate for each bulb you purchase. Sadly, we are not within their service area so we were unable to apply for the rebate. We know many of you are, so be sure to take advantage of this offer. (You can also check the Energy Star website for rebate offers across the nation).
This rebate form can be found in the store. It looks like this:
On the back is a worksheet to calculate your light bulb rebate. You can see that potentially you can receive a rebate for up to 15 A-line (standard) bulbs, 15 flood bulbs and 15 specialty bulbs for a total of $412.50!
You do need to submit the store receipt with the rebate form. You have until 12/31/15 to submit the rebate. If you buy the bulbs between 12/23/15 – 12/31/15 you rebate must be postmarked by 1/8/15. The rebate is in the form of a credit on your electric account; you will not receive a check.
