We love quick, simple and economical dinner ideas. This is something we whipped up the other night and thought you may enjoy too.
Easy Spinach & Tomato Alfredo Pizza
You will need:
1 Pillsbury pizza dough (you could use any type of pizza dough)
1 – 2 tomatoes thinly sliced
1 box chopped frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
1 onion thinly sliced
1/2 jar Ragu alfredo sauce (or and brand you prefer)
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions:
Flatten out the dough and back as directed in the oven. For this recipe we baked the Pillsbury crust for 8 minutes.
Spread 1/2 the jar of alfredo sauce over the partially cooked crust.
Top with the spinach. Make sure you have squeezed out all the liquid from the spinach.
Top with the sliced onion, tomato and shredded mozzarella.
Bake as directed. Our dough required 11 more minutes of cooking.
