It is so cool because they let you know ahead of time when you have a delivery coming so if you won’t be home (and need to sign for the package) you can authorize delivery with UPS online or reroute the delivery for FREE! But another huge benefit is when you have packages to ship!
We have 3 fairly large boxes to send out with UPS. Because we do not have a daily delivery or pick up, we need to either pay $4 per box for an “on call” pick up or schlep the boxes to our local hardware store which is also a UPS drop off point. Yuck.
Because we belong to UPS My Choice (a free service), we know that UPS is coming on Monday with a delivery. That means we can give our boxes to the driver and he will take them for free. So, we save $12 on pick up costs!
