As you may or may not know, we had one heck of a huge garage sale this past weekend that took a ton of energy and help to get organized. We have 2 amazing Moms that come out and help organize and run the sale every year and this year we treated them to a relaxing night (after all their work was done!) watching the newly released movie Liz & Dick. Here are the 3 of us girls, in the midst of our garage sale extravaganza:
After a full day of manning the sale it was fun to relax with a few drinks and watch Liz & Dick. I had not had a chance to see this movie when it appeared on Lifetime and was super excited to have the chance to review this movie at home.
Lindsay Lohan does a good job in her role as Liz Taylor and the chemistry between her and Grand Bowler who plays Richard Burton is magic. Their on again and off again passionate love story was captivating and fun to watch. I can’t imagine the scrutiny they faced as they rose through the ranks of Hollywood royalty. We shared quite a few giggles and “imagine that” moments during the movie. All three of us agreed that it was a movie we would recommend to our friends. It’s nothing serious or overly dramatic, but it does provide a glimpse into the lives they led and how they intertwined.
