If you are a resident of Michigan you now have an opportunity to save money while exploring our great state. The Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) allows library cardholders throughout the state to gain free or discounted access to 385 sites and numerous events.

Visit the Michigan Activity Pass website and enter a ZIP code, address, library or destination in your starting location, along with maximum number of miles from there and your library name.
You will see a list of participating locations. Select a specific location and “get pass” to see availability. A library card number is required to complete the pass request. There are a limited number of passes available at each of the locations, and they need to be used within 7 days. If your preferred location is “sold out,” you can easily check another location on the list.
We plan to utilize this with our upcoming vacation to the Upper Peninsula.
