We’ve never stayed at Mission Point, but during our overnight trips to Mackinac Island we’ve been by the hotel and it looks amazing. We are 100% certain a stay there would be magical, and at the price of the Mission Point Resort deal on Groupon, it’s kind of a no-brainer if you are looking for a fun Michigan get away.
Staying on Mackinac Island is magical! Since no cars are allowed on the island (you take a ferry from either St. Ignace or Mackinaw City), it is like stepping back in time. You can’t help but relax and unwind while enjoying breathtaking waterfront views. You can explore the island easily by bike, horse drawn buggy or walking.

We are actually headed back to the island later this month (thanks mom & dad for a fabulous Christmas gift of lodging!!) and are super excited! It is one of our most favorite places to visit; each time we create new memories. Maybe we will run into you there?
