Wow! I was on a roll this evening. First the awesome deals at Dollar General with coupons and then Rite Aid.
Going in to Rite Aid I wasn’t that thrilled about the stop but I had $5 in Up Rewards to use before they expired. I also had 2 of the $7 Allegra coupons that expire 4/8/12 so I was hoping they had them. They did!
Here is my transaction:
2 Allegra (marked $7.29, but rang up $5.83 = $11.66
2 Gillette body wash (notice the FREE deodorant with them!!) @$3.99 = $7.98
1 Scunci 18 pack of hair ties $1.99
Used (2) $7 Allegra coupons from 4/1/12 paper
Used (2) $1 Gillette coupons from 4/1/12 P&G insert
Paid $5.63 + $1.30 tax = $6.93 & got back $6 in Register Rewards! ($2 each for the Gillette and $2 for the Scunci)
FREE!
*The $7 coupons did not need to be adjusted down; because I did not realize it until I got in the car that the Allegra rang up less than $7.29, I did not even notice that they gave overage.
