This is our lesson about how we found the best, consistent price on milk at Rite Aid. Before we discovered this deal, we never bought milk at Rite Aid!
Usually Rite Aid milk is priced around $2.99 a gallon. The first time we bought it we were happy to see that it rang up $2.69; and assumed there must have been an unadvertised sale going on. Hooray! But when the cashier told us the final price, $2.39, we were even more pleased.
It turns out that because we have reached the 500 point threshold on our Wellness Card, the 20% savings we get on everything we buy INCLUDES milk! We saved 20% off $2.99, or $0.60! At just $2.39 a gallon that is the cheapest we have found anywhere – and it is an “everyday” price because of the Wellness Card discount.
