We are going to the World Series …. for Colt baseball! Yes we love our Detroit Tigers and hope to one day say the same thing about their World Series games but currently we are caught up in our own magical baseball world!
You may or may not know, we do not have any children. We do however have 8 amazing nieces and nephews that we are very close to and that we care about very much. All of those kiddos know that UJAK (Uncle Jim & Auntie Kelli as they call us) loves to be included in their lives. We submerge ourselves as much as we can, without being creepy, into their everyday lives.
We have celebrate so many accomplishments with them and this coming weekend we will be able to add another to that list. Our nephew Calyb’s Colt baseball team has made it to the World Series in Lafayette Indiana. Road Trip! The Colt World Series goes from 8/1 – 8/7 and is double elimination.
We’re going down to catch the first 3 games and then if they continue to win and make it to the final we’ll drive back down (it’s about 5.5 hours for us) for that game too. How could we miss it?
So – for any of our readers in that IN area…..any things you want to share about the area? Any fun spots for us to check out while we are not at baseball games?
