This is a great deal that I don’t think went widely noticed at Menards last week; the good news is it is still running through 9/25/11. This lack of interest (and inventory in stock) is probably because Menard’s is not a “go to” destination for beauty items.
However….look what we picked up:
Sally Hansen beauty tools, on sale for $2.49
Use $1 mfg. coupon from previous newspaper insert
Mail in for $2 Menards rebate on each one (limit 4 per household)
Final price = $2.04 Money Maker!
If you go to the store, I had a hard time finding them. In my store they were located by the greeting cards (go figure) in the 1 small aisle they had stocked with shampoo and such. Truthfully, I did not even know they carried these kinds of items & either did a worker when I asked for help finding them. Luckily Jim spotted them in last week’s ad and remembered we had coupons for Sally Hansen. Score!
Menard’s rebates work like Rite Aid or Walgreens rewards, the check that comes in the mail can only be “cashed” or used at Menards on a future purchase. The good news is that they have very long expiration dates so you have pleanty of time to use it up. We tend to keep rolling our Menards rewards week after week because they usually always have something you can get for free after rebate.
