When you think of Gorton’s, do you think of fish sticks? I must admit, I always do and I am taken back to elementary school where we had fish sticks every Friday during Lent. They were OK and probably were not Gorton’s, but as an adult I long for something more.
We were intrigued when we saw Gorton’s Artisan Fillets at the store. They looked so not like fish sticks! Being a big fan of easy to cook dinner options, we were happy to try them and provide this review (we were given a coupon for a free product in exchange for the review).
Last night I popped these fillets into the oven and baked them according to the directions, flipping them after 12 minutes. That is literally all I had to do with them; at the end of the time they were finished. I whipped up some pasta and steamed some peas and that was dinner. And it was good; I mean really good! The Artisan Fillets cooked up crunchy and firm, not at all mushy. The fish was high quality and not mushed up yuckiness (I know we’ve all had that kind of fish).
I’d recommend them, and will be buying them again. You can head on over to Gortons.com and print a money saving coupon as well as find recipes and explore their products. You can connect with them on Facebook Twitter and Pinterest and enter their Real Solutions Sweepstakes (closes 4/21) for a chance to win prizes. You can enter every day.
