Well, we went to Kroger last night armed with oodles of coupons, mostly printables we have shared with you this week or so. We each had a cart, and we were thrilled that everything we wanted was in stock! Our Kroger doubles coupons up to $1, and that is a huge blessing. Because of that many of the items you see were free.
What we bought (combined, between the 2 of us), the price after the Mega Event savings & what coupons we used:
- 16 DiGorno frozen pizzas $4.69 each minus $1/2 coupons (some printable, some from inserts)
- 2 Trop50 OJ, $2.59 each minus $1/1 coupons (printable)
- 3 Brawny paper towels 4/$5 each minus $0.55 printable coupons
- 4 Honey Bunches of Oats cereal $1.99 minus $1/1 printable coupons & $1/1 printable coupon
- 8 Mom’s Best cereal $0.99 each minus $1/2 printable coupon
- 1 Ore-Ida Sweet Potato Fries $2.49 minus $1 Kroger coupon we were sent in the mail
- 4 Wolfgang Puck coffee drinks, $1 minus $1/1 printable coupon
- 2 Melitta coffee filters $1.49 minus $1/1 printable coupon
- 7 Bic pens $1 minus $1/1 coupon from inserts
- 2 Kingsford Charcoal bags $4.49 minus $5/1 printable coupon
- 1 Bumble Bee tuna pack $0.99 minus $0.50 Kroger catalina coupon
- 2 Revlon nail polishes, on clearance for $1.89 minus $1/1 insert coupon
- 12 Balance Bars $0.49 each minus $1/3 printable coupon
- 9 Pure Protein bars $1 each minus $1/1 printable coupons and $1/2 insert coupon
- 8 Uncle Bens rice $1 each minus $1/2 insert coupons
- 27 cans of Hunt’s diced tomatoes $0.59 each minus a combination of the 3 printable coupons found here
Total spent: $64.98 which includes $59.04 in pizzas. Without them, the total would be just $5.94!!! (We eat a lot of pizza, and this was a nice price so we stocked up).
Our Kroger has a policy of only allowing 3 like insert coupons and 2 like printable coupons to be doubles in a transaction. We buy 4 to 6 copies of papers each week and we print coupons from 2 different computers in our home (which allows us to end up with 4 of each printable coupon when you can print them twice.)
We have a video of the haul for you on our The Clever Couple YouTube Channel. Enjoy!
I love Digiorno Pizza! At $3.69 each, I snagged 16 of the self-rising crusts in 4 different flavors.
