Have you ever used CellFire coupons? CellFire is a pretty smart system where you load coupons onto your grocery store loyalty card (like your Kroger card) and then when you use the card at the store, those coupons are automatically applied towards your shopping balance. You don’t have to clip coupons, or to remember to use them!
Just buy the item and the savings are automatic! CellFire is free to use.
Cellfire currently works with: Baker’s City Market, Dillons, Fry’s, Gerbes, Hilander, JayC King, Soopers, Kroger, Owen’s Pay Less, QFC, Ralphs, Scott’s, Smith’s, Carrs, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Pavilions, Randall’s, Safeway, Tom Thumb, Vons, and ShopRite
Certain stores will accept a CellFire coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon on one item, but that is not the norm. I know our Kroger will only accept one or the other. You can remove loaded CellFire coupons from your shoppers card if you find a more valuable mfg. coupon.
It’s worth a short to explore CellFire and see what they have to offer.
Does the The Clever Couple use CellFire? Do you see drawbacks?
We do Linda, but we don’t load too many because the place we shop the most often (Kroger) will only take one or the other. I am afraid if I load a bunch of the coupons onto my card and forget they are there, then find a more valuable paper coupon and do not remember to remove the e-coupon from my card, I could miss out on savings.
I find it especially helpful if it for an item I am going to buy right away or that I do not have a paper coupon for.
Have you tried using them?
Re: Loading Store Loyalty Card
Please forgive me, never loaded a card in my life. Can you explain in details, exactly how you do it?
Similarly to loading video clips to a hand-held mp4 player?
Between the card and the computer, do you need some special electrical wirings?
Thanks
BW
It is super easy Bin! You simply go to the website and you enter in your store loyalty card number (found on the front or back of the card). Then, you click the coupons you want to load onto the card and submit. It takes seconds to do, and you do not need any cables or cords or anything.
Does that help?
