Have you ever tried roasted cabbage? Two days ago I made it for the first time and it was absolutely one of the easiest side dishes I’ve ever made. Plus it was totally delicious. I am fairly certain I could eat slabs of this as a main meal, it was that good.
Easy. Delicious. Healthy. What more can you ask for when you are looking for a new recipe for dinner time?
How to make Roasted Cabbage
You will need:
1 head of cabbage
Olive oil
Garlic salt
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Remove the hard center part of the cabbage head.
Slice the cabbage into hunks, about 1 inch to 1.5 inch thick
Lay the cabbage onto a baking sheet, lined with aluminum foil (for easy clean up).
Drizzle olive oil on the cabbage, using a brush or spatula to coat the cabbage with olive oil.
Sprinkle garlic salt over the cabbage, and salt and pepper.
Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
Enjoy!
We served this with steaks, but it would really be delicious with just about anything. Like I mentioned, I may just opt for this as my main dish!
I love roasted cabbage. I just forget to make it except in the summer time. I think it is awesome!
