4 Pounds of Expired Coupons Headed Overseas – You Can Help Too

What do  you do with your expired coupons?  If you just throw them out, I urge you to mail them overseas to our military bases instead.  Members of our military that live on bases overseas can use expired mfg. coupons in their commissary for up to 6 months past the date!  However they do not have a way to receive the coupons weekly as we do in our newspaper.

It’s so easy to share your love of coupons…just put them in an envelope and mail them away!  There are various places to send them, including the base we adopted in the UK (you can find out more about that here) as well as to any other base.  We’ve connected with a great group of couponers in Guam that would love your coupons too.  You can find them on Facebook here.  Click the “info” tab for their mailing address.  Even though they are in Guam, you only pay US postage rates, so the postage is really inexpensive.

We just sent 4 pounds of coupons in a Priority Mail envelope for less than $5!

  1. That is awesome!! That is one stuffed envelope 🙂

  2. I send mine to Coups for Troops in NC. At the end of the month I go through and use all that I have use for, I clean out my notebook and mail those I didn’t use that expired. Keeps my notebook cleaned out, makes me watch expiration dates and hopefully helps the troops. Also keeps them from getting too old for the troops.
